Very nice time Stu - especially since it was pretty warm, you pretty close to a sub 13.
How did you go with launching? Did you take it up to a certain number of revs or just take off normally?

Usually around 4000-ish rpm to launch (kinda hard whilst watching the tree), but I tried my last run around 5000+ and completely smoked the clutch :( Jim Berry here I come....

Missed the first two runs in the cool morning air after getting knocked back for my older helmet

A good tip I got told, go on the last yellow, not the green. By the time you react and get the car moving to break the beam it'll be green and you can get your r/t down.

At a T'n'T don't worry about the lights. Just make sure you go after the green and get the launch your car needs.
But yes, going on the last yellow gets you good RT's. But RT's don't come into play in 1/4 mile bragging rights. It is all about ET and MPH.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

QFT...

Especially if you've got an auto with HUUUUGE turbo's that take a while to stall up.
Forget traffic-light racing, launch when you're good and ready
