Well done Adam that's a great time!

I feel I could have got low 13's if only I could get the launch perfect and subsequent gear changes at exactly the RPM I wanted (oh and remember to turn off air con too). Next time, hehe. :D

Well done Adam

I knew it would do a 13 flat. Your 13.6 was with a 2.1 60 ft'er. Knowing yours is auto I assumed a 1.8-1.85 60 ft time with a proper boost launch (given its a wagon), and the mph told me it would carry and give you a 13.0 flat.

Great time.

Chuck your time slip up and will tell you if it has a 12.9 in it

Glad everyone came!

Mick predicted my car could run a 13 flat after seeing it do a 13.6.. i thought he was crazy, but he was right. The next run got a 13.08. I dont think theres much more in it, but could possibly get a 12.99???

Oh yeah!

I've been checking this thread just to see this! Good work Adam :bb:

Great job everyone who attended this meet.

Some very interesting results. And a good comparison of mods and tunes.

I noticed Ryan, Blacktop, and a couple of other guys hadn't posted a result. Any reasons?

There was a blown C63 there last night Bruce.. didnt get to see it run, but it sounded awesome!

Ryan (blacktop) ran a 13.5 @ 112mph with a 2.1 60ft. So he will easily run 12's on a good run... tuned by Insight

Dave (Gen3v8) ran a 13.6 not sure of his mph.. tuned by Pulse

Im tuned by MSR.

And to add mine to the list:

I ran a 13.519 @ 105.74mph with a 1.918 60ft. Tuned by Scott @ Insight, but with LC/FFS patch added to that tune by Matt/KiDo (best of both worlds? ).

All very respectable results.

I'm familiar with the blown C63 in Sydney. I've attached his previous timeslip from WSID. I'll wait to see if he posts his time from last night on MBworld.

Anyone have any video's of the event?

For those who competed, any tips for those who want to try this?
What did you guys felt was good about the run?
Felt like a good launch?
Did it feel like the car bogged down at all?
Anything else you can add as feedback from the night?

Looks like the liberty boys represented well. some nice pics! :)

Here's a link to the kit the C63 runs with a clip of the same time being achieved with it in the US.

http://www.weistec.com/m156scs2.html

It makes 672 Horsepower, 662 ft-lb of Torque approximately 500 kws.
