I should have some videos (haven't checked GoPro yet), hopefully with telemetry too like some of my track day vids. :D
Thinking it could be a useful learning tool actually (for me anyway) - tried to point GoPro at, shall we call it the 'cockpit', so can see shifting process etc. and maybe identify areas for improvement.

For those who competed, any tips for those who want to try this?
What did you guys felt was good about the run?
Felt like a good launch?
Did it feel like the car bogged down at all?
Anything else you can add as feedback from the night?

Looks like the liberty boys represented well. some nice pics! :)

im uploading a little video for you now to youtube. Shows 1 race from inside my car, and then the same race from my mates car that I was racing. Nothing special, not my best run, but youll get the idea.

My best advice (after having only been to the drags once) is to get a good launch. You know an average launch when it happens and it really effects your time.

Great - nothing wrong with the quality! (compared to mine) - just checked out my GoPro footage and it didn't turn out very good - great angle/positioning but it's really dark and quality looks shit! Don't know what I did, maybe a wrong mode or something, or seem to recall there is a different lighting mode maybe I should have been using.

An excuse to upgrade maybe, orig HD Hero v1 is too old and quality seems crap in some modes.

EDIT: Just thinking this was the first time I've ever used my GoPro at night, obviously in hindsight I should have done some night testing beforehand. Not happy. :?

Here's the video of my quickest run.
You can see the difference in the launch on this one.. on boost when i released the brake and got some wheel spin. Resulted in a 0.6 second improvement.

Here's some in car videos from my 3 runs. Sorry for the shit picture quality - my GoPro doesn't like night time. :?

My 1st run was the best.
My other 2 runs not quite as good.
Noticing now looking at the video, car seemed to bog down a little bit on launch compared to the first run. Using LC so foot was just flat on the pedal, not much control over it other than how quickly I released the clutch I guess.
