Noticed there isnt a thread for the upcoming f1 season so here it is...

I have joined up to a fantasy F1 comp which is free. start with $100million buy a team 4or 5 drivers (if you can afford it) and an engine. based on results from the GP's you get more cash to buy better teams/engine or drivers.

once you joined go to leagues and do a search for (VBFF F1)
password is (maitland). Prizes can be won.

Vettel admits it was deliberate, and he'd do it again...

Yep, I hate vittel.

hopefully this puts the fire in the belly for MW. enough to push the whole season and not just one race. I hope this makes for great races all year. I hope to see them playing chicken all the way.

last chance in a great car to take the WDC.

Vettel is such an arrogant Cock.
I really hope Webber runs him into the wall during the race.

So rumour is that Raikkonen is not going to take up the position at Red Bull, leaving Ricciardo open for it.

Do you guys reckon they'll take him on board, or completely go left field and get someone else?

According to some sources (like The Age yesterday) he's already got it. But then again, according to others (like The Age today), he may not. :(

I wouldn't have thought he'd be Red Bull's second or even third choice, but maybe it's better to promote in house and others are too hard to extricate from their contracts.
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

I think Ricciardo is a good choice.

The last thing Red Bull want right now is another battle between their own two drivers. Ricciardo is guy on the way up, but he's a good few years behind Vettel in terms of maturity and ability at the F1 level. This will give Vettel a few years of breathing room where he can be the undisputed number one driver in the team, and gives Ricciardo plenty of opportunity to grow without significant pressure on him. He'll learn a lot, and as Vettel starts to either fade or look for another team, Red Bull will have built Ricciardo's confidence, ability and loyalty, meaning that they have a new number one driver in the (Red Bull gives you) wings to step up when required - and all without worrying about having to break contracts or offer stupid money to get someone to move across.

It's a win for everyone involved.
