I absolutely flew past him as he was parked on the side of the road...

Dragged a modified 300zx twin turbo the other day.
I think he was surprised when I took off from the lights.
I backed off at about 90km and then he flew past me.
He couldn't beat me but we were pretty even on acceleration.

Nothing better than beating a fellow P-plater. Especially the ones driving VE commodores.

One thing I have found with these LGT's is how fast they move up to 80kph. They really haul with it in S# mode. I only have a tune on my car and its really punchy down low. I can only assume the extra torque increase will be with a TBE and bigger TMIC. :o

smoked a 2012 AMG Mercedes the other week. Whether or not he was aware that we were having a race, I don't know. Still I had a smile on my face though :D

yeah I honestly doubt the AMG was trying.. been in one of those and a modded liberty and hands down the amg rapessss hardddd. only issue I could really see is the lack of traction from the amg..

Kept even with a Ford Territory Ghia in Economy with 3 other people in the car. He was trying as well as he intended to drag me at the lights but I cbf'd, so just kept even for a laugh.
