RIP Marco Simoncelli

On lap 2 of the singapore Moto GP today, Marco Simoncelli slid off his bike and was hit by Edwards and Rossi. He didn't survive. A great character in the sport has been lost, my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends and the rest of the Moto GP community
It's a sad week in the world of Motorsport, first with DAn Wheldon and now Simoncelli
May they both rest in peace

Saw the footage earlier and felt sick in the guts watching it happen. Very sad week for motorsport, thoughts with families involved

Very sad indeed as he was an upcoming star in this category. I reckon he would have died instantly as it was a horrific accident.. Gotta feel sorry for Edwards and Rossi as well as I'm sure they are also going through hell at the moment.
