I had an extinguisher in the car for a while, but took it out because it was just rolling around the boot.

I have heard that you should periodically shake or rotate your powder extinguishers. I was told that the powder can settle and then when you have need to use it, nothing happens...

I believe NRG in Sydney does a similar set for Liberty's, its cheaper then the WRX club offer, same fitment location, cams approved, will post details later….. Stay tuned

The NRG one is not very good from what I've read. It places the extinguisher too close to the seat rails and limits forward movement/quick removal. (It's close to being a totally flat bar which anyone could make at home, whereas the WRX one consists of two hinged pieces, comes out wide and is angle adjustable). It's also near unusable if you don't have electric seats since the adjustment bar gets in the way.

I think I recall seeing Shane jump out of his car because he thought it WAS on fire... But it was just a leaking transmission cooler.

With the growing number of mods under the bonnet and the up coming track day, I am looking into a Fire Extinguisher.

I am looking at mounting it across the front of the passenger seat rails…. Using the existing seat rail bolts

Just wanting some advice about what size or brand of dry powder FE Extinguisher to get????

What about a mount for a vacuum cleaner Tony
