Perhaps you guys didn't put enough time in to cleaning the window beforehand and putting enough friction/pressure on the sticker when you applied it?

These stickers are rated for a 7 year life. They shouldn't lift if the glass is clean before you apply them.

7yrs i wish....i got lifting letters and i cleaned the window with alcohol first. the problem is when i clean my window the towl catches the corner of the lettering..

Were they from the first run, or the second run?
The vinyl used for the second run was a much higher specification.

Sounds like you guys had the 1st batch maybe?
I can point blank a high pressure hose over it and it doesn't do anything to it :|

Matty did his own run of stickers. I don't know what sort of vinyl was used for them.

Side rear window looks the business as it's flat and straight, also kind of looks a bit wanky having stickers on rear/front windows. Remind me too much of those idiots that drive with giant HOLDEN stickers on the rear window.

Personally, i think side window looks good, if you have a wagon. But i know that when summer comes, im not always driving with the air con on, and when those back windows go down, the sticker isnt visible. So whats the point of having it? Also, over time, due to winding the window up and down it will slowly start to peel away at the sticker.

The rear window is probably the best place to put it, because when i see a Liberty on the road, I dont want to spend 5 min looking all over the car for a liberty.asn.au sticker. The most common place is the rear window, so thats the first and usually the only place i look as i dont want to get distracted from driving. Plus the rear window is pretty flat.

Btw, what giant HOLDEN stickers are you talking about? I dont think i've ever seen a car with a giant HOLDEN sticker, but i have seen many people with giant southern cross stickers on their back windows.

My 2 cents anyway.

Front windows down!
Also I have front and rear club.liberty number plate surrounds. Guess what ISN'T visible at night time? Your sticker! But my rear number plate surround is.

This is why I hate stickers on front and back windows. People put these on back / front...sometimes both :|

Wait, that ute is a holden? oh my god i didnt know, lucky he has that massive sticker to remind me!!

regarding lack of stick, i used to have a vinyl cutter and a small home business doing decals. I got a batch of faulty vinyl once and the stuff had little to no tack whatsoever.

Anyone good at photoshopping, put the sticker on the top of the window (from Keiran's post below) instead? That way, opening and closing the windows won't affect the sticker. Would it look tacky?

Keiran, looks like your "passenger side" has a steering wheel in the front, you sure you don;t mean driver side rear window?
chaotic2050 wrote:What do you mean if you don't have a wagon?

Passenger side rear window like I said!

Well technically it's on a passenger window....

If you put the sticker on correctly, windows going up and down won't affect it.
And if you are really worried, buy 2 stickers....$5 a pop, not like they are expensive :?
