I think the catch with tire rack is the fact warranty isn't coveted from the OZ dealers and uoull be hit up for import tax if the price is over 1k..

Quick, someone call Red Bull Racing!

Just a heads up, Tirerack can now ship all brands except Toyo and Yokohama to Australia. Freight to Australia is about $400 for a set of 4.

These links are worth a look:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp ... 24YR8PSSXL

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp ... 4YR8F1A2XL

In the size you guys would be looking at (225/40R18), the PZero is a freak of a tyre. It has a 238mm tread width (made in Italy model).

Note those tyres above all have a 92 load rating. Some in that size will be 88, which is not sufficient for a Liberty.

Haha love it.

cheers for the links. I was gunna look at buying from tirerack when I am ready.

Unless you are running crazy low (as I was) then you won't have issues with scrubbing - even when running a low height i dont remember having any problems. A 42 offset is not all that aggressive. All you would need is your guards rolled and you will be fine. A 225/35/19 tyre will be perfect for it. If you go wider then you may find scrubbing might become an issue.

Yeh I am looking more 235-245 tyres don't like the tipped in tyre look with exposed rims, also I have plans to put in Tein flex and lower some more. I want to get the stance, wheels n tyres as perfect as I can. I think 50-55 offset would be perfect or pump the guards 10mm would be the other option. Still investigating.

While everyone is talking tyres. I would like to know what size tyre would suit my rims to be 18x8
I do want the tyre to affect my ride quality and I have a very bumpy road here in moree.

In other works id like a nice size tyre wall (same as stock) where the tyre does not need to be stretched but I dony mind if it is a little.

I was thinking 235/45. I dont really want my spedo out much either. tyre gurus thanks in advance.

I have 225/45/18 on mine, bigger diameter than stock tyre size by 8mm and noticeable extra comfort over the 225/40s which I used to have.
With the 225/45, my speedo is 4kph slower than GPS 100kph....stock size is about 6kph off.

235/45 would be chunky as, lol. 18mm taller in diameter. I personally wouldn't run that big. Play around with this wheel and tyre calulator and you can see exact comparative specs.

Just to confirm what people are saying, i have RST's in 18 x 8 +44.
The offset is perfect, you can check my thread for some photos which will show how the wheels sit on wagon with bilstein.

I'm running 235/40/18- the tyres rubbed on the rear by like 1-2mm, so i ended up getting them rolled by Cruisn.
If you ran 19 x 8.5" with 225, it'd be really really close, but if you had 18 x 8 with 225, you'd be sweet!

And as for tyre brands, i got the wheel and tyre package for $1400 inc. an alignment- the tyres are Fullway 235/40/18.
I did some research into the tyres and what i've gathered is that they are the better of the 'cheap' ones going around.
I was previously running Kuhmo's on the spec b wheels and comparing the two, i've noticed a difference on dry roads, nothing too sever but i'll probably replace the tyres in the next few months and change to something better as i drive the car pretty hard every couple of weeks. (for $100 a tyre they're not bad)

I haven't driven hard on wet roads since i got them, so I'm still not sure how they perform.
And as for the accuracy of the speedo, at ~105kmh on the dial, is 100kmh on the GPS. Handy when it comes to speed camera's!

Jay, is it 42 or 44?

Cause the website said 42. Did you get a special order?

Would be awesome if we can get 44's..

They are all 42. Plus what difference does 2mm make anyway?

Craig, do you know what size the KU31's are that are quoted with the 19's?

Deciding between 18x8 RST's or 19x8.5 RSO's.........
