Yeah agree. The Potenzas you have are the OEM ones..they cost quite a bit don't they? The last I saw somewhere (I might be wrong) was something like at the $400 mark or something? The ones I have now came in at $385 each inc install but that's WA pricing for you (in some places).

I wouldn't mind the RST in 18x8.. Man choosing wheels is always such a hard one. - no tires

BTW I'm pretty sure they only have stock of RSO and RST - the rest are a work in progress.

Craig sorry I probably wasn't paying attention - meant to say I wanted RST's not RSO's. Thanks again :)

Reply from Perry at TAKUMA

"This is a great idea from you and club members. But I just wondering how can you pay together?I will give each order 10% discount in group buy. The tyre would be TRACMAX(19inch) or FULLWAY(18inch), please find attached photo. You also can go to our tyre website: http://www.takuma.com.au/carproducts.htmBefore discount, 19inch package would be $1800, and 18inch package would be $1600 including GST, Delivery, Nuts, Hub Rings, Caps.T9C will available in May due to weather problem in Osaka, we are sorry about that"

I have also pasted the email I sent to him in the first post.

guys looking at tyres what do you think of that tyre? if never heard of that brand... id prefer something from Nexen like
http://www.nexentireusa.com/tires/high- ... ance/n7000

Another thing I didnt think of... im gunna get 5 rims anyonr else want 5? if no reply I will just assume 4

Thats fine. Once we have got the tyres picked and we can confirm who wantd in i am happy to buy...i get paid tomorrow :D

In terms of just rims I think if you take the 10% off the advertised price then that would be it...but will clarify this soon.

From memory. I did a quick search of these tyres (tracmax and fullway) and in general they are cheap tires that are bad in the wet. Dont know about the new Takuma tires??

Here's a great review of them. IE one persons experiences with the takuma tyres
http://www.auslancer.com/forum/viewtopi ... 7&start=15

EDIT..... Was just reading the above again. So he is saying that BEFORE the discount its $1800 with tyres with their Takuma Brand?? If so i might just try their Sport 2 tyre for that $$$$.
Not a Subaru...... Something MUCH better

NOPE..... That's shit too. Bus anyone??

Sorry to post so soon after my original post, but unfortunately it looks like I'm out.

At this stage I will be saving instead to upgrade the car... :D

Sorry guys :/

Well I was putting my name down because the odds of upgrading to a H6 where nill to none.

Now the parents have said that if I can afford it, I can do it, it's a much more viable option :D
