I'm interested but I'm in Melb as well so it would be great to be able to get a delivered price in there once you have confirmed the price.

Is there an easier way to find the H/U without pulling the thing out? I've got a MY07 Spec B.

It's not that hard to pop it out, 2 side moulds and ashtray that clip off, 6 screw, around 15mins.

OK so this is the reply i got :)

Ok... not 100% sure in that instance.
I do know that the PF-28241 is supported but not sure if it still is when their is a sat nav involved
So long as the rear CD changer port is free then it should be fine.
Even if the sat nav pluigs into that port the supplied GROM cable is a Y cable so you can plug it inline with exisiting cabling

So I found out my model is the PF-2824I and I pressume its the same model in all post facelift GTs.

I couldn't get a good picture of the rear of the unit but I assume the square shaped port in the top left (if looking from the front) is the cd port that this unit plugs into?

On a side note, my phone is too big to fit into the cubby. Has anyone seen holders than can kinda retract in/out of the cubby cos I'm not a big fan of sticking it on the windscreen.

Can't say i'm a huge fan of the vent ones cos it blocks the air and i dont think it's a good idea to have hot air heating up the phone :) The cubby is the ideal spot especially when the phone gets taken out eventually and there's no need to remove the windscreen mount everytime you park. I'll check on ebay if there's anything suitable.

Can anyone confirm if the cd port is the small square one in the corner? I don't have satnav and I saw two unused ports at the back so I pressume the small square one is the one this unit plugs into. Where is a photo of the back of the h/u when you need one - can never find one when I need it!

EDIT: This looks the goods.

edit: If only that mount was retractable.
