I tried this here viewtopic.php?f=46&t=17067

As mentioned in mynameisdaniel's WTB thread, it didn't end up being worth it as they don't discount the units, and the shipping savings aren't really there either.

Thanks Jerome, I havent read your thread yet, but sounds like the benefit via group buy is very very marginal.

At least we got a view across each state as to who is interested, and we could sort each other out via mini-group buys per state

Yeh as I mentioned in my thread, it is beneficial buying in lots of two. So if you and someone else want one and are shipping it to the same place, you halve the shipping costs.
