We got off to a shakey start with a misunderstanding on pricing. All of you and Phat were right.
It's OK by me as I hope to learn from any experience, good or bad, and indeed I learnt quite a bit!
Thanks for your interest and support! Ben

Rather than start a new thread I'll just add some more info right here.
We didn't even get close (as predicted) to our desired pricing as K2Gear has very high margins, fair enough.
However we did manage to get the best possible pricing for you and are doing our best to minimize shipping costs.
We're likely to scrape under the $400 mark...
If you're still keen, and haven't already received a reconfirmation PM from me, then just PM me again. Cheers, BBB
Good mats are hard to find...
These mats will outlast the car!
K2Gear 3D mats are a worthy upgrade for Subaru carpet or rubber sets (which retail for $175-195).
Construction is XPE+TPE: waterproof fabric-textured synthetic laminated on a foam core, they're flexible, washable and virtually indestructible.
You have the best of both worlds - durable, weather resistant mats that look great whilst protecting the interior - they use the factory hooks, so they're safe too.
To complete the interior upgrade effect, we're also offering the option of the K2Gear Mat Protector (pending availability and pricing, TBC).
Update: Not a massive amount of interest, in this but you might save a little on shipping so just add your request to a PM with "PROTECTOR" in the subject.
They're around $80 RRP.
