Just using in the supplied mounting hardware lower right hand side of the windscreen.
I might mount it to the edge of the vent just below that.
The latest GPS software seems really good - good to know where the fixed cameras are!

Not that I'm Captain Hoon, but some (e.g. Victoria from Peel right hand turn) are just unnecessarily EVIL

This is the only thing I miss about my GPS, and also the reason I sold it as I wasn't using it for directions anymore!. I only ever used it in areas I was unfamiliar to alert me to any speed cameras I didn't know about in case I was creeping over the limit.

Love it: can I get one for the RHS dash?
I just downloaded the lastest software update from ecudatascan.com.au, dumped the file on the SD card as is and it automatically installed when I turned the unit on after starting up this morn.
The look of the GPS is now slightly different.
Still haven't worked out how to bring up monitoring and gauges yet, but I'll print the manual and re read it.
Any tips?

Menu
-Protocol
-Subaru Select II

Set up whatever data you want to read from there.
You can change the display colour, add alerts, etc.

Did yours come with GPS software installed or did you do that yourself? I'm yet to explore that side of things!

Yes the iGo folder was on the SD card already.
Might try set up a monitoring dashboard over lunch today...

So just popped out now and had a look but there's no GPS icon on the menu? I've seen the igo folder on the SD card but can't check that until I get home.

Weird!

I got a 0-20 psi analogue boost gauge up, but nothing registering when revving in neutral at least.
Plenty of time to play this weekend.
The analogue gauge dashboard has three dials, any suggestions for parameters to monitor with the other two?
I guess this will be the first of many dashboards :-)

I use the digital gauges. Much easier to read while driving IMO.

I have A/F sensor (AFM), accelerator pedal position, coolant temp and air intake temp

If it's just a boost gauge, it won't register anything until you hit boost. When sitting in neutral, you'll need it to register vacuum
