AUTO MY04-MY06 TURBO PHAT GT DUMP PIPE GROUP BUY

This thread is for anyone with an Auto Pre-Facelift GT that is interested in the PHAT GT Dump Pipe.

The Dump Pipe is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to get a lot more out of your car in terms of power and responsiveness (quicker to boost, and earlier on RPM), you will be able to feel the difference the moment you drive the car with it on.
It doesn't require a tune and a lot of people on the forum have run the DP without a tune for a long time, but a tuneup is recommended when you go for a full turbo back exhaust to get the most out of it all.

I am going to try and organise a group buy.
I will be waiting on details from Michael, but it will basically work like this;

We will need to reach a certain number of people before it can be done, the number will be (as a GUESS and not an accurate figure) 5 people for the minimum, and those 5 people will need to pay a deposit before it can go ahead.
I will get a figure from Michael about the deposit amount, and I will set a timeframe for it to happen. If the numbers do not eventuate when the timelimit passes, you will receive your deposits back in full, so you have nothing to lose but everything to gain.

Sean, yes GT only as its for a turbo model only.

You interested or not?! One of the worst things I hate about the group buys are the wafflers who post up interest .... depending on price. If you have to ask, you probably couldn't afford it anyway. LOL!

Almost 1 month and only 2 people interested......Sorry Clarence but "Interested pending cost" doesn't count as truely interested, especially from someone like you who changes their mind every 10 seconds.

It's like trying to sell a house - sure, lots of people are interested but unless they know what price range it is, then there's no point in wasting both our time. I'd be interested in buying it if it were in my price range.

In any case, I've managed to source myself an HKS downpipe.

Blank cheque? I'm sure you've been around long enough to know what the average price is for a dump pipe. And with a locally made one, should be roughly the same if not cheaper price (ie- the mufflers). All that's required is a small deposit to show genuine interest to get the estimate numbers, and once the final price is announced, you can back out if you want. I wouldn't expect anyone to be locked in on a group buy without the final price being revealed first.
