Had some time today to process all the PMs. The few that needed replying have been sent. But too many to reply to everyone who didn't have a Q. Thanks for all the kind words though :)

Just wanted to stop by again and say thanks to all of you and provide a bit of guidance for the install.

The spacers can be very fragile and I have had several reports of them being damaged in the mail, hopefully everything will arrive intact but if there are damages don't be alarmed. One reason I included 5 pieces in each set was to account for this. When you are handling the spacers, DO NOT SQUEEZE / BITE / PINCH them in your fingers. They are designed with a minimal amount of flex in the z (vertical when orientated with flat sides up and down) direction but are fairly weak when lateral or shear forces are applied. So basically, Handle with care.

To install:

Arrange the spacers on your desk or somewhere flat in order of height and choose the middle one to start with. Each car will be different so you will have to experiment with placement, but in general, about 8"-10" from the Drivers side (your passenger side) corner of dash (or wherever the spacer fits best) is the ideal spot. You should find a place where the spacer almost fits, but not quite. Apply pressure to dash until the spacer just starts to slide in then ease up so it doesn't fall behind dash. Ideally, the spacer will just be visible, and will be un-noticeable in most conditions. There is nothing to say you can't use more that one spacer if you want just be sure to not drop the first behind the dash when installing subsequent ones. In my experience though, one has been enough to fix my issues. Just remember to not apply too much force when pushing them in or they will break.

Cubby gauge pod:

I neglected to include the screws and small spacers needed to install the gauge pod, my bad. Whoever the lucky winner was will need to go to Home Depot / Lowes / Hardware (or your equivalent) and take the two lower mounting screws and replace them with 5 mm longer ones. Also needed are some small spacers, or washers. Contact me if you need help with it.

I am currently working on a defrost vent gauge pod also so let me know if any of you are interested in that.

Cool, thanks for the detailed info :).

Paggaz, make a note of what is required for the gauge pod install. And have a look at the link below. Let us know if you have any questions.

Not much to update, just waiting for the package :) (fingers crossed before the weekend). For the first time in a long time I'm not working on the weekend, so I'm going camping. I haven't gone through the payments yet, but I'd sayd most (if not all) are there. But unlike most GBs where we wait for everyone to pay first, we don't have to in this case since I already paid. So no one gets delayed because of anyone else.

Look what just arrived!! 8)

Thank you again to discojon, and also for the nuclear bunker postcards - very cool :D

Sorry for the bad pic, I was in a hurry. I'll start getting them packed up today after work, and should have them all sent before the end of the week. We've now hit peak xmas mail times, so I'd expect them to arrive after xmas but before the end of the year (also because of how far I am away from everyone).

*The 2 people in red in the above list have not yet paid or replied to my PM. If by say next week I don't hear from them, they miss out and I'll re-open the GB for the few remaining pieces.*

Hopefully I'll have these before I go to Canberra so no squeaky dash for 8 hours :D

I would also like to congratulate Tom on an amazing group buy and how well it has been handled, definitely deserves a pat on the back
