Avon.
Just watch the 235's on a +45 offset rim.
I had to roll the guards on our wagon as the 225's on our +45 rims rubbed.

Cheers,
Rusty.

Thanks for the info Rusty. Is yours lowered at all? Cos mine's on stock suspension, so going off the guide that Ric posted http://forum.liberty.asn.au/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=98, they should fit without any issues:

8.5" (+45mm to +48mm offset, +45) *will need to roll the fenders if tires are wider than 255
235mm = 8", 8.5", and 9"
235/35/19 (tallest tire you can mount without fender clearing issues on a 2" lowered car if you get the right offset)

Avon.

Yes mate ours is lowered (H&R springs).

As for the 255 on the 8.5" +45 rim, I definitely wouldn't like to try that on a standard or lowered car.

I honestly think a 225/35/19" tyre would be your best bet and roll the guards just to be on the safe side.

Just my opinion though.

Cheers,
Rusty.

Oh ok. Will a 225 fit the 8.5 width? I was just going off the guide. Oh, and definitely NOT going 255, lol. Waaaaay too much. I'd like to get away with 225 if possible, as it seems to be more easily available and hopefully cheaper.

Maybe I'll just ask the tyre dudes about running 225/35/19 on the 19 x 8.5" Thanks heaps for the info Rusty! :D

Oh i know... considering they usually go for $340: getting them for $250 each is a bargain. Just need to save up the coin now. 100k service is due next week and that's MUCH more important ;)

225/35R19 will be hard to find with the right load rating... 235/35R19 is easier to find with the right load rating!

Can someone please confirm if they clear brembos.
I'm interested in the 19 x 8.5 with 235 35's.
I would love to go down to Tech9tyres but can't seem to get away from the office at the moment.

Just how much firmer is the ride on 19's as opposed to 18's?

Yeh, forget TEMPE. Ive already discussed with them. He said they would be getting in 3 weeks, I called 5 weeks later, he says "man weve had problems with shipping so they are gonna be a while, your gonna have to pick a different wheel". So I pretty much said beat it and went to Taleb...
