OK so the hold up is that K2 Gear are understandably reluctant to sell the mats un-boxed. So shipping on 30 sets (!) would be $1600 (!!!).
I've asked the vendor to give us a definite yes or no this week, then it's either with a possible contact in J, or revert to Phat. :roll: :roll: :roll:

Right now there's 2 options:
Phat direct via Garage88 for K2Gear 3d mats.
or
Wait a couple of months for a similar (non K2gear branded) product for Gen4 at a much lower price.

I'm sorry but we couldn't reduce the shipping cost on the boxed sets.
It could be possible if you had a close contact in J on a one-off basis.
I could do this but not for 20+ units...
Personally I'm pursuing the second option, via the local distributor who is awaiting stock.
More details soon! :D

So 3 months after the original post, this GB is still no further along and you want people to wait a few more months for an unknown similar product, with unknown pricing and quality?

We got off to a shakey start with a misunderstanding on pricing. All of you and Phat were right.
It's OK by me as I hope to learn from any experience, good or bad, and indeed I learnt quite a bit!

If the other product works out it won't necessarily require a group buy as the pricing will be very reasonable.

You've done well mate, they aren't easy to organise that's for sure! Everyone makes mistakes, underestimating on my GB has left me out of pocket an international transaction fee of $27 & also $38 in shipping fees..

But I've learnt from that and if ever I run another, I'll know to cover it.
