Fantastic!
Taylor has requested another week to get a yes or no from his contacts, then we'll choose the best option, rejig the GB EOI and sort out the final offer and relevant details. :D

I'm thinking Sean will come back with the same type of figure as above, but always worth asking.
Should have a yes or no by mid this week.

So by the end of this week we will be changing from EOI GB to GB with revised actual pricing and some edits to the text.
Once again apologies for the over optimistic estimates, at the time we didn't realise that K2gear has so little margin to cut, not surprising given the exclusive and bespoke nature of their esteemed products. :D

$250 is a price for 10 units, imagine the price for 50!

Yes, that price or any prices shouldnt have been put up without getting quotes first but as i said people believing they could get these at almost 50% off were only kidding themselves.

Not really Adam, how is the normal person supposed to know that the prices were unrealistic? I myself even believed them for a short while as I thought Phat had provided them until I started to put two and two together. How many people in the list of 60 odd people would have had a clue that the prices were completely unattainable? That's the real point here. Yes it was only an EOI so people shouldn't tale it seriously and whatever, but this is a forum, and this is the GROUP BUY forum in particular, so when people when an EOI they are genuinely expressing their interest.

As has already been discussed, posting an EOI based on fictional $$ quotes is almost a complete waste of time as the final price is dependant on final numbers, and the final numbers is dependant on the final price to an extent. It's much easier and makes much more sense to run an EOI on actual quotes, it is more meaningful and not as much of a time wasting exercise.

I'm not having a go at you or trent, Benny, because I've met you and know you're a great guy, I'm more having a go at the method used. This should be a learning exercise on how not to run a group buy.

As this is an EOI thread I'd like to strongly suggest that this whole thread be shitcanned in favour of a brand new group buy thread when pricing is finalised!

We can do that too, let this stand as an example of where not-to-go.
How a minor miscommunication can lead to you-know-what.
I've made an inquiry with a good contact at a certain high profile main dealership too...
If you don't ask... :D

For sure: we want to confirm pricing later this week, it won't be anything like speculated, alas, at $370-ish.
