So its sticking in the ribbed bit - the footpad?

My heel catches there very occasionally depending on what the heel is like on my shoes, or at least it did when the mat was brand new.
Nowhere near as bad as the old worn out carpet though...

Anyway to be sure I've sent a PM to everyone in the GB.
Please respond to that and comment so we can track the similarities and develop a solution. :-)

Jayraddd:
Since your pedal is hitting the floor, I'd look into a clutch stop, just a horizontal strip of 3 or 4mm stickyback rubber just under the carpet atop the clutch pedal stem...

Is anything making the mat sit higher off the floor than it should be?
Is your hook working? :-)

From Stu:
I fitted the mats into a 2005 Gen4 2.5i manual Liberty. The pedal only caught a few times but it was mostly my big foot getting caught between the clutch and the 3D mat covering the footrest. To fix the issue, I cut a piece about 25mm wide the height of the footrest from the corner, which then allowed the mat to be tucked under the footrest, pushing firmly towards the firewall. Haven't had a problem since.

Nice one! Very tempted to try this to bring back the footrest bling :-)
Pics plzzz...

Mat sits fine in the foot well. And yes the hook was working.

I dont have an issue with the foot against the footrest, only the length of the mat is off allowing the clutch pedal to slip behind it.
As I said, rather not change the movement of the clutch. So just going to have to do some DIY on the mat.

Yinindustries:
Had a look at the mat.. For me it's the bottom edge of the clutch pedal that comes close to the mat.. There's like a <1mm gap between the mat and the bottom of the pedal.. Very minimal clearance.. I haven't noticed any issues with the stem.. Seems like there's decent clearance there

Ebay......

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Subaru-Carpe ... 3ccd0270bb

I didnt like the fact they were a tad long so I shortened them, drilled and countersunk new holes.

I have another set I bought "just in case" I messed the first one up that someone can buy for cost price + postage.
