NSW guys, been flat chat with work so unfortunately i will not get a chance to send them until Monday. They will be sent via express post so you should get them Tuesday.

For everyone that has received theirs, let me know if you didnt get any instructions. I seem to have a spare booklet so im not sure if someone is missing one. The install is pretty easy but i'll email you a copy if anyone has missed out.

Ben.

Tools:

(WD40 - To loosen a bolt or two instead of grinding the heads off them and touch up paint - Just in case you knock something under the hood by accident.

Undo this bolt and put in the ball end bolt:

Put the end of the strut on the ball end and then put the clip through:

Then do the other end (but include the washers which is didnt)

Grease the strut (grease and applicator inc.)

Honestly, I Probably wouldn't even have noticed it if someone mentioned it but yes the light bonnets do stick up a mm or two

Installed mine today.

I dunno if it was a shitty screw or something, but one of the ball ended screws that goes in to the engine bay snapped while I was putting it in. The threaded part of the screw itself just snapped in half
Are there any spares available Ben, or do you know if the company can supply them?

Luckily I had a 2nd set of struts so I was able to use one from there, but now Aaron can't install his until we get this ball ended screw.

I don't even notice the change in height of the bonnet now, it just looks normal to me :D
Works great and looks nice and stock.

I paid for Aarons strut with my own money as a gift.
He was happy to wait until we can get a replacement, he was there with me at the time.

Unfortunately, no spares but I'd try bunnings or eBay for some ball headed screws.

So it's not some special made item?
Originally I was thinking it was, but after a while I kept thinking maybe it was a common item, and they had designed the strut around it.

I'll take the broken one down to bunnings next weekend and see what they say.

really dont think bunnings would have it (i used to work there),

try a nut and bolt place, like Coventry fasteners etc..
