just received mine, packaged very well and TNT delivery service was great. Cheers Rob

Just wondering, the photos show alterations need to be made to the y pipe however if mounting on OEM pipe, are we supposed to tweak that? if so, would that then change the position if reverting back to the OEM mufflers?

The pipe from the flange to the barrel of the muffler seems a little short to tweak? Anybody able to clarify this?

Cheers,
Dave

You are 100% correct. If you were planning on refitting the oem mufflers, i would not be tweaking the oem y pipe.
If the hangers of the muffler locate 100% as is, i'd think about tweaking the tips of the muffler rather than anything else.
Or adding an adaptor between the y pipe flange and muffler pipe flange. But this may put your hangers out of alignment and will need modifying also.

Yep you are correct sir..

Its easy to tweak the oem y pipe to fit these and easy to tweak oem y pipe if you want to revert back to stock

Haha yep understood jake!

Thanks for the info guys

Just to point out that the delivery on these things were super quick and tracking included. Have not yet had these babies fitted but will be jumping onto it pretty soon.

I'll keep you guys posted when I do. Thanks Rob!

Thanks Rob, had mine installed today, fitted to Xforce Y pipe with the expected minor tweaking, looking good and sounding good and i hadn't realised how much drone my 4 inch tip Xforce mufflers were producing untill the swap over.
cheers Tyrus in Tassie.

How does the noise level compare to the xforce 4" muffs/tips?

Compared to the Xforce mufflers they are a little quieter and have a much nicer "burble" note to them especially when taking foot off the accelerator in low gears, also has eliminated highway drone,
overall very happy with them for a great price.

just installed these babies today. straight bolt onto stock system with no engine mods. deeper note on lower revs and very quiet when going 3rd and 4th gear. also no drone.

All in all, very happy with purchase and will definitely recommend. once again, cheers rob!
