It is a dyno dynamics chassis.

Thats not that unrealistic to be honest, 175Kw/235Hp at the wheels however, is a very high figure for a stock car with exhaust and only running 14psi?

Especially considering my car with full intake/exhaust, 17psi and on a hub dyno made 171Kw/230hp and Dave's car with more boost and much the same mods + TMIC made 180Kw/242hp?

Seems to me with the additional loss of a roller DD dyno, less boost and less mods, its unlikely to be a Kw figure... But hey... Dyno's are only tuning tools, and they all read differently... So who knows!?

Congrats on the new exhaust and tune...forget the numbers and enjoy the ride.

Jimmy our cars were dyno tuned on a hub and run in 5th gear so really no point in even trying to compare imo.

Good result! I stand corrected!

Looks like you are running pretty close to 17psi there as it spikes though!

edit: 4th gear... gotcha... Still, I bet it drives much better!! :D

I don't understand why people keep trying to compare dynos in different states. The number it spits out is for "my penis is bigger than yours" competitions only, thus my initial hesitation to list the figure. There's so many variables there it's not funny.
In time I'll do some quarter mile passes for mph and get the car weighed so I can use a moroso calculator to get an accurate measure of true power.

The boost curve is not ideal I agree, but I'm quite sure that has nothing to do with the exhaust, and all to do with the turbo exhaust housing not being matched to the displacement. I'm sure FHI is thinking why bother with a turbo that flows well when the exhaust behind it will then in turn cause a similar restriction.

What's most important is how it drives, and most pertinent to this thread is how it sounds in this case. Both of which I'm stoked with . It has a quiet burble on the motorway and a fantastic note when you get up it.

If we were to order just a centre and Y pipe, how long would it take be ready to pick up? Also, how much postage to gold coast, 4226?

how long till these are available to be ordered.

Also, can you/anyone comment on exhaust fitment for wagons? Is it the same as sedans?

hi guys, im still working on some final adjustments to the mid pipe to get the system to be perfect.

I will update when these have been tested, look slike about 2 weeks time, then production run can be finalised :)

Fittment will be fine for the wagon's and the sedan, I am manufacturing the muffler to have the same look as the STI twin tip mufflers which stick out of the sedan a little bit and will also suit the wagon's :)

Cheers

tbear can you please advise the difference between your product and say an mrt or MMS exhaust?

This will help my upcoming decision.

Also, will they fit if I have a rear diffusor like this one :
Image
CURRENT - ATP GTX 3576 - 22psi - 283.7awkw
OLD - Dom 1.5Xtr - Last dyno 254ahkw, previous 238ahkw, first 224awkw.

hi mate

the picture did not show up, but as long as the diffuser does not obstruct the muffler tips it should be ok.

Also I have not seen an mrt system or a MMS exhaust so I dont know if there are any differances, what I can say is that my systems are extremely high quality (welds, stainless steel used, mufflers etc) and will be comparable to any other system out in the market.

if you have any other questions please dont hesitate to ask

I will also be anouncing a slight pricing chance for the full system shortly :) but you will have to pre order to be able to have access to these prices
