Got the new T10 - 10SMD (5630) LED - $20/pair, you can use them for parker/number plate.

These have better heat sink to over come the heating issue and its the brightest so far.

What options do you have for T15 reversing lights?

The factory tint makes it almost impossible to see anything out of the rear window until I put my brakes on and then I can just barely see something.

I replaced the stock globes with some 11W CREE LED globes and they're much whiter... but no brighter at all. They're marketed as 550 lumen. I have a 250 Lumen torch which I would argue as being brighter.


While HIDs would be awesome, I dunno about putting them in an Auto.

Is there anything else you can think of?

Wait what? You can't just say that and not elaborate..... does switching on his foglights sound the horn (foghorn?), or does beeping the horn flash the foglights?

They look pretty schmick Leo - definitely a cool white but lots sharper light from the parkers now, goes with the HIDs well.

Do these ones project a circle on to the brake light housing? I had some bright ones with a round end and it projected a circle and looked terrible! Do you have pics?

Have you had a chance to explore the inboard tail lights on the GenV (On the boot section)?

I believe the EU an JP models have a rear foggy in there...

I haven't been able to find much on the 'net, but I was wondering if you could simply put a dual 'bulb' in there and when the fogs are on you get the rear foggy as well?

Or even whether the the wiring loom caters for this...

?

if you just want your all 4 brake light to act the same then its not hard ... just need to wire them and change the connector on the boot section (i did the same thing on my car Gen 4).

but if you want to light up when you have you fog light on then .... i'm not too sure.

Currently i got my brother's car (Gen 5) so i might look into it.
