Thats is correct !

you can make it legal by putting auto leveling and headlight washers .. to me thats just way too much work. :alcoholic:

Hello Leo,

Could you please quote me for 2 x 5000k headlights for my MY07 GT Spec B, postage to Brisbane?

I picked my car up from a service at a dealer with the advice that there is visible 'moisture in the left headlight' which I thought was a bit odd as I hadn't seen it previously. I drove down the street and immediately noticed the bulb was dead so took it back.

The dealer advised that I could get a single replacement HID bulb for $400 - $500 and that I could order a replacement headlight assembly for $1300 as it 'must be cracked' to allow the moisture in.

I laughed and refused those offers and checked myself - the rear dust and moisture cover is missing from the headlight and probably has been since I bought the car.

Strange they didn't notice that the cap was missing when I brought it back and they removed and checked the bulb.. They were quite happy to quote my $1300 for a replacement headlight that I didn't actually need.....

Anyway I've ordered a new dust and moisture cap and I'll fit it along with new bulbs.

Thanks mate, David.
