leo explained CANBUS to me when i was at his place. hopefully i get this right.

with CANBUS equipped cars - they have sensors on their lights. for example - if a bulb dies/busts, a light on the dash will show up to advise you that the bulb has died/busted.

did i get that right leo?

these are just for car running canbus system ... just like how i explained with LED ..

"For those with European car - Due to LED draw less current than normal 5W wedge base bulbs so computer will detect normal LED bulbs is faulty and warning signal come up. But this latest technology with build in micro electronic resistors and super bright SMD LED that can over come the warning signal in the dash board or on board computer in most of the modern european vehicle."

same thing apply to HID ..

Cost wise they are $20 more then normal slim ballast kit.

I would just like to say that my Hids have been installed by Leo for more than 3 years and they still are going strong. Have had absolutely no problem with them since.

Hey leo, I'm thinking I'll change the globes in the low beams on the rex to 5000k. Which in turn means I'll have to change the parkers also. I have the HID foggies from the lib, but not sure if the globes will fit. Stay tuned as you may end up with a PM :)

im pretty sure on 07 WRX the fog light is H3 ... while in your 07 Liberty it's HB4 ..

so if you want to change your lights ..

then all you need to do is get D2S 5000k bulb - $50/pair and also H3 5000k replacement bulb (since you already got the ballasts) - $50/pair/

and you done !! :D

anyway just PM me
