Leo,

Awesome result. Are you going to provide them in kit form or do I need to send you my spare set of headlights? Any idea on price?

Leo, could you estimate the difficulty or possibility of doing twin ccfls on the post facelift headlight for us please?
An indication of what diameter ccfls would suit would be beyond awesome cheers

Over the long weekend finished another project. Found it bit harder compare to the MY05 headlight.

Looking good!
How was the post facelift HL more difficult?
Possible to add a second smaller CCFL to the other reflector in there?
Any chance of putting a string of DRL LEDs in there too?

Just askin'

The reflector shape for the hi beam area makes it awkward for another ccfl ring.
I looked at putting on the smallest one I had and even that idea quickly went in the cbf basket.

Nicely done Leo!

If you wanted a second ring you might have to go with just a partial circle like this. Although Spec B headlights are different again.

Thanks for the replies! I did think that twin CCFLs would suit post face HLs because we don't have the cool extras found in the pre that really set off a single CCFL.

I'm up for twins + led strip if it can be done tastefully

After they have been on for a while does the dark spot at the endpoints get less noticeable?

I'm gonna have that part where the eyelids dip down so hopefully it won't be as noticeable :)
