MY10 Liberty - Interior & Exterior Lighting

The OEM "interior lighting kit" adds some blue lights in there, I've seen it in the factory options brochure.. although without a price.

Some guy on LegacyGT installed it himself and it looked like an absolute bitch - you needed to remove half the dash!

I was thinking on the way home tonight that the cup holders in the GenV could do with a couple of small LEDs in them somewhere, any suggestions???

Let me know how you go - looks very easy to get in there compared to the Gen4 (based on the pics on www.legacygt.com)...

We have different cupholders from the yanks but it looks like the plastic rings are there....

Maybe it's a project for Hobber - the cupholder king :P

Hey Leo,

Any idea on the type of bulb I would need for the reverse lights in the MY10 Lib wagon? I would like something brighter, the mrs likes to park front on into the car port and there are no street lights or anything around so reversing up the driveway at night can be a bit of a biz-nitch even with the reversing camera. Any advice???

Mods: (GT) HKS Panel Filter. The HKS I put in the MY10 is the same filter I took out of my MY05 GT. So yes, they do fit. Custom leather heel pad to minimise carpet wear in the drivers footwell. Slotted front rotors. (Sherpa) 14'' 6 Spoke mags, Chrome Gear Shift (sick!), Alloy Pedals (sicker!), new positive and negative battery terminals, Alpine cda-9827 H/U, JBL GT 6x9's boxed and mounted (sickest!), Kicker DS650.2 component speakers mounted in the footwells in flibreglass pods, Alpine MRP-F200 4 channel amp (4x40wRMS), Rebadged with hektik chrome eBay badges, STi stickers for more powaaaa, "leather" handbrake boot, recarpetted with grey/black car carpet from Bunnings, sick Clarke Rubber boot mat, polished and waxed.

Leo you make LEDs sound like drugs... lol

Incidentally I'll be wanting 'the full Leo' on interior and license plate lights soon... might do reverse as well if you are able to find a good solution...

Were you able to find lower temp, more OEM white T10 parkers?

Hey John

When ever you get time just swing by as i got all the interior LED in stock ..

with the reverse light i have spoke to my supplier they can do a T20 base with 4W led ... but i guess you all want it brighter so they will get back to me see if they can do the 6W version.

With the parker i got them but i had to send them all back ... as they way just bit too yellow ... almost like standard ..

so hope the next batch is bit better.
