Many thanks Leo.
In mid June you supplied me with LEDs for the parkers, number plates, reverse lights, dome light and boot (LED strip). Over the last two months I've gradually been installing these suckers and I'm now very happy with their appearance! I think there's no such thing as too bright for the parkers though - if these ever fail I might try the next level of brightness - or forget about them and hit you up for DRLs if I can be bothered with the wiring work required (given it took me two months just to get all these suckers installed, what do you think the chances are :-p)
The boot light in particular is great. The one strip, carefully placed, provides brilliant illumination to the boot and a bit outside the boot. The double-sided tape on it is shite though... it seems really sticky at first, but only lasts a few days before losing adhesiveness. I recommend anyone installing the LED strips replace the double-sided tape from the start.
The number plate looks great but those clips on the boot trim are a BASTARD to get out. Couldn't have done it without the [now somewhat slightly abused] trim removal kit I purchased. I do NOT look forward to ever having to do that again!
Lastly I made a new discovery. The big obvious 'P' (parker) switch on the steering column. Never tried that one before. Hey, it turns on the parkers! Amazing. What a tool.
Though I'm not sure what purpose it really serves - the first position on the lighting stalk (right hand side of steering wheel) does exactly the same thing except also turns on the number plate lights. That position on the stalk seems a bit redunadant as a result. (yes, the parker switch leaves them on even when the key is out of the ignition).
