LED - **Exterior** - Parker, Number plate, Reverse & Fog

on the new golf they use the high beam as DRL .. it only runs like 30% of the high beam to act like DRL.

and on the golf R they have proper LED DRL and at night when you turn the light on it will dim ...

They look great! Not normally a fan of aftermarket lights like that. But I like them.

How much are these LED DRL's going to cost? And is it just the 2 sets that you have available or will you be getting more in?

Really liking the look of them.

same here ... to me position od the DRL is quiet important ... in the wrong spot it just look wrong ..

but on the 3RB front bar it look very good .. i was going to put on my car but on the GT bar there is no good spot for it.

so far i really like the power output and the finish .... these are 10.5w ...

so i will order more so it will be available soon.

Yeah, great. More things to potentially spend money on.

Probably a bitch to fit and wire in though?

yeah it will be more involve .. also depends on how you want it to work.

i installed a less powerful LED DRL (8W)on my wife's Jazz ..

So when the lights are off (full strength)

And when you turn your parker/low beam on they goes to 30% strength (so you don't blind people).

And the one i'm going to install i will have a ON/OFF switch inside the car so the owner can turn it off completely ... as currently on the Jazz soon as i start the car it will turn on.

Sounds like a great setup. Something I'd consider after finishing my next (first) round of mods and have a bit more free time.

I'm registering my interest ... If the DRL look good on the spec B (if you can fit them in each of the honey comb) ... I'll be knocking on your door.. :D :D

Finally got around to installing some of these suckers.

Dome light (didn't go for the DOOM model) is a nice improvement over the stock glow worm. The blue tinge to the light doesn't look too nice on the 3.0R's cream leather but I'm getting used to it.

Boot light (strip) is awesome and now serves a purpose!

Reverse lights were a bit of a shit to get in as they're physically very slightly larger than the holes they need to be pushed through, but they went in eventually. They seem to work well but I need to do a bit more reversing in the dark to be sure. Also hope they don't pop out of the globe holder and end up rolling around in the taillight housing!

Parkers... I have to remove my battery to get at the left one don't I. Plus the air guide to get to the right one. Happy to be told I'm wrong?

Too much stuffing around for a Sunday night so I have deferred this one until later.
