Great work with the photos Leo. Would you say as a general feel, the reverse lights are similar to, slightly dimmer than, or brighter than 'normal' incandescent reverse lights?

If you just look at the bulb then the LED lights are lot brighter then your halogen bulb. But when its install into your tail light the brightness is about the same.

but i noticed with the LED light it spread the light more evenly and the other good side is due to LED light is bit longer the light shine light closer as well. So with halogen bulb you get light around 1mtr away from car .. with LED you will get light around 30cm.

i have also order 2 sets of LED DRL (10.5W) .. i will try on a Gen 4 3RB and post up some photos ...

Interested about these... none of the Gen4's have DRL do they? (or did the late models have them?) Are these a retrofit? 10.5W sounds nuts.

Yeah none of the Liberty came with DRL ... i got these yesterday ... and they are very bright !! the kit itself got the dimmer unit built in .. so depends on how you wire it .. you can have these on automatically when you start the car .. and once you turn your light on it will dim to around 30%.

Soon i will work on the 3RB as they got the perfect place to mount them (soon as its done i will post some photos) and i also think the 07 - 09 spec B bar have good place to mount as well.

And do you have any pics of the brake light in leo?

DRL = daytime running lights. The USDM Legacies have em and they hate them over there. It burns out the headlamp bulbs very quickly.
