Brake lights and boot strip light fitted... much better - thanks Leo!

And great service as usual :)

Though for some reason my car always feels very dirty when I visit you :)

Incidentally, GenV owners, get the strip lights for the boot. Wow. Massive difference!

Still struggling to find good T10 parkers for the GenV...

- White rather than blue (to match OEM) - Seems really hard to get find warm white LEDs... ?
- clear lenses mean the lamp itself is totally visible so it can't look too industrial

The OEM bulbs are sooo yellow it is ridiculous, and I'm using LEDs like these at the moment but they are too blue for me:

Any ideas anyone? :?

For those who don't know, in the following pic the parker protrudes from the top of the high beam reflector (just visible at 10 o'clock on the reflector); the high bean reflector is the big shiny one inboard of the xenon lamp - note the totally clear /unpatterned plastic cover.

I agree mate, I am using some old LED's I got off Leo but they are way too blue for my taste. If you find something with a nice white colour, or, if Leo knows of something that is more of a white light, let me know!!!!

Harrlllooo gen V owners ! hahaha

most of the LED i supply are all around 5000k to 6000k ... for suitable for people running after market HID kit of 5000k or 6000k replacement bulb ..Factory xenon light is around 4500k.

and the other down side with Gen 5 head light is .. the parker is exposed .. unlike Gen 4 it's all covered.

in my brother's i have change the main beam bulb to 5000k .. which looks great new the 1W parker ..

i have few 5SMD warm white LED parker (personally i think they bit yellow) more then happy for you guys to try ...

maybe one day when ever u guys free come around and see what we can do ..

Warm white is around 3000k isn't it?

I'm running standard +50's for my driving lights and also wouldn't mind some LED action for my parkers (which by default are crap in terms of brightness). My current driving lights are now definitely whiter than the stock globes but I have NFI what the colour temp is.

Thanks Leo - I remember we had a chat about it when you did the strip in my boot and taillights :)

Will look at the calendar and might take you up on that...

Cheers!

John

(P.S. if you haven't had Leo put strip lights in the boot of your GenV, see him now! )
