Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum doing some research on Liberty GTs cos i think they're a great all-round car. For this reason I've saved up some money and now in the market for a Liberty GT for under 20k.

I've been monitoring carsales.com.au and other auto-trading websites, and even test drove a few, but none really worth buying.

So if you are interested in selling your car, please PM me and we'll talk

Criteria:
- perfect service/log book record
- no major accidents or mechanical issues
- prefer auto (so missus can drive it too)
- mods OK, but pls give details
- not too fussed on colour, but i prefer white, silver and black.
- prefer <100,000kms as i am keen to keep this car for many years with many long road trips.
- Must be in NSW.

i would be going to the auctions under 20k maybe not yet

If you are happy with Auto then you can buy as early as 2004 since they only came in Auto.

Wanting one <100KKms for that price is a big ask unless you bought at a trade auction and it was a repo or something priced to sell quick. Just over a year ago I found it very hard to find a 05GT (manual) <100KKMs without a very high asking price. Now the mileages would be higher for those same cars but the price would not have dropped below $20K as they were around $30K back then.

i guess it isn't cruicial for the car to have <100k kms, but close to would be great if i can find one.

How about my old car that is currently up for sale by the current owner?

It's a Turbo and it's auto! Negotiatie with him, I am sure price will go down!

I was offered a MY06 TB STi with 24k for 25k,full history and serviced every 6 months.You will find 1 matching your criteria if you are patient as on the wholesale market they are well under 20k.

Whaaaaaaat a 06 Sti with 24,000kms for $25,000?

Sign me up for 2 please and ill keep one and sell the other for $32,000 and use the profit on mods

Where did u find that? It's a absolute bargain even thought the rims have been chopped by the lawn mover
