It's not really the sort of part your going to find secondhand. After a lot of research i found your best of buying aftermarket. Something like this:
http://www.cyberspaceautoparts.com.au/c ... nsors.html
The top one on the list is the one my mechanic managed to source for $250. But around $300 is the going price.
Good luck! I'm on to my 4th one now.

cheers mate, appreciate it. last i spoke to me mate about the sensor, he said he just bit the proverbial bullet and ordered one from subaru ($400ish from memory  ). cos there's two of em, he's hoping its only one of the sensors are shot, but if he needs another, will let him know about your link.

again, cheers

jon

Common problem with the Gen 4 Liberty's... 99% of people who have had the problem have just gone back to Subaru to get it fixed (Including myself).

There has been a few threads talking about after market options, & at the end of the day, it's not going to save you much money.

If you really want to find one 2nd hand, I'd suggest calling around a few wrecking yards... Might pick them up cheap, but you also run the risk of them being shot straight out of the box.

But GenIV's aren't listed in that Bosch list are they Shane? Or am i totally missing it...?
I looked there when i was searching for sensors last time.

Paul from Pulse decided to try the aftermarket option since i had already gone through 3 Subaru ones in just over a year. I saved around $50 over all and I've had this one now with no dramas. *fingers crossed*
