hey guys, i'm looking to put a H6 of some sort into my 2001 Impreza RX to cope with P plater laws in QLD - brisbane.

I have a budget of $5-6 k and are fine with doing the electrical work myself (might need some help with any fabrication). I have my heart set on this and would love it if someone could sell me the engine or point me in the right direction.

You're embarking on a pretty big project there. Have you spoken to people so you know what your getting your self into. It's probably going to cost your more than $5-6 as the engine alone is around $2-4 for a second hand one at the moment, then you'll be looking at around $1500 to get it engineered. I'm not saying don't do it but just do your research first especially to see if you can do it and still be P plate legal.
