Hi guys,

am getting out of my 2 door rexy (had enough of continual repairs. You'd think $32,000 in receipts would make it right wouldn't you, but no. It will be when I sell it, but Im just over it :( ). It can sit in the garage until a buyer comes along!

New member on here Dave (blackflatsix05), has referred me to this web site.

So, Im after a manual Spec B. 2005 or better.

Like the black, but not fussed. Had a beauty lined up in Tassie that had 31,000km that was for $25,000. :D It's gone. :( Another in Vic for $25,000 also with 51,000km (still available), so for around 25 I can get a good one!! Another one in NT for $24,900 with 38,000km (also since gone!). Dave's was 25K too, with 50,000km, so there's a few around in that price range and those km.

So what do you have or know of?

Want about +/- 50,000km. Also has to be no more than $27,000 . If yours has more ks and is dearer, you're dreaming son!! (see examples above as to why!!). They're around, I just have to be in the right place at the right time. :D :D Will travel, obviously, but I am in the Sydney/Newcastle region

Thommo

edit: sedan only!

Hi,

yep saw that. Forgot to add Im after a sedan. And the kays are too high. Hence it hasnt sold for that price with others on carsales (normal place a prospective buyer would check), with 50km going for less.

I've got one. In Sydney too. All the specs you're looking for. A few too many kays for your liking though and you're not willing to pay the money I'd want to part with it :D

Seriously though, good luck. Mine is an awesome beastie

See guys!!!!!!!!

You're dreaming if you want more than about $27,000. Even then the "want" is one thing, the actual price you end up getting is another, hence $25K is my limit. :D

Cheers.

Very patient. Thanks for asking.

Looked for a year for my 2 door. 6 months for the XT Forester we also have. That enough for you?

Just cant be bothered with people that reckon their car is worth this or that and when they try to sell it at that price they dont get it. Be realistic. Check out carsales etc. Theres the real prices for you. The ones that have been on there for months etc are overpriced. Simple market economics.

Hi Troy,

thanks for that. Prefer black, spec B and manual. Cheers.

MS has to pull the engine as he's 99.99% certain it's the valves that werent machined properly (common with shitehouse machinists), when the heads were done at MRT. Thanks MRT! Recovery action is currently underway to get my $$ back from them. :D Then Im selling it.

So over the continual hand in pocket and the millions of hours and km I waste travelling around to this and that so called experts! MS diagnosed it in an hour! Classic
