sti quads

Just curious about why you're interested more in the STi than Hitech? Is it the brand? I was thinking the same thing too until I asked around and some of the guys who have rocked STi quads at some stage or another said they were too quiet, which makes sense since it is a straight-off-the-showroom exhaust. I'm gonna totally sound like Jim now but "What do you want out of the exhaust? Looks, performance, noise?" lol

Anyone care to explain the difference between the two products? Is one more audible than the other?

From what others have found on inspection the GTB and sti are same muffler except sti is quads (very exxy tips if you want to buy from Subaru)
Sti muffler is definately not a rebadged hi tech Jim has had both and def not the same,

hi techs mufflers, have no baffles in the resonator, hence the increase in sound/burble and better flow, they a made from a higher grade stainless, they have a larger in pipe
sti cans a the exact same as the gt mufflers, just with sti tips welded on.
