Looking for a R/H front Bilstein strut for Gen 4 H6 model 3.0-RB. I know it's a long shot, but if you have one in Sydney please PM. Thanks,

The rod that bolts into the strut top has sheared in half. I can see that it has been like it for a while as majority of it is lightly polished. I had a huge hit years ago while in the country, large pot hole while overtaking someone, nowhere to go. Suspect that caused the initial damage, finally let go.

Hoping to find a single one so I don't have to get a replacement pair. Not sure how long I want to hold onto this car for.

Dan,

You have some options.

(1) CorgiWerx at Yagoona 2199 repair the broken M12 stud that the top of the srtut where it connects to the strut top.
It is an off-vehicle repair.

(2) The inner inverterd strut is repalceable. You may take the inner strut out of any Gen4 Bilstein, left or right hand, and replace yours.

(3) Contact James on Facebook (Corgi Junior) as he says that he has some spare Bilstein struts.

You can find CorgiWerx on facebook.

Follow the attached link.

Thanks Billy.

Sending you a PM about (1) and (3) as I don't share my data with the Facecrooks...
