Try subaru specialist wreckers or self serve wreckers.

Really? What’s the going rate at self serve wreckers?

I checked at Imlachs in Vic, $60 with warranty, $48 w/o.

That’s complete, too.

Details on self serve wreckers in my parts faq link in my signature below.

Thats more than the new price, eg on ebay.
Read the parts faq link in my sig.
I'm referring to self serve wreckers, you remove the parts yourself.
You can check their price list online. eg try U-Pull-It Lonsdale.

Looked at all the self service wreckers SA, none even have a 4th gen let alone with a towbar, and will not be going back to subawreck ever, may just need to bite the bullet and buy one new

Wow.
Bear in mind there’s two types, one is more heavy duty.

Either would suit my needs, I just brought one off gumtree and I was assured it came of a 4th gen Lib, but ended up from a Impreza, so I’m already high on a budget

Rough end of pineapple :(
I just checked online and the gen4 towbars are very specific, seperate items for wagon and sedan too.
