WTB: Gen 4 wagon tow bar (VIC)

Hey guys, I'm not sure if this is the right spot but I've been looking for a towbar for my gen 4 wagon that comes out from under the tow bar so I don't have to cut my bumper cover.

I've seen them around a bunch, but I can't find anyone that sells them. If anyone has any pointers for me, or has one for sale I'm all ears!

I'm located in Geelong, VIC.

Cheers.

Yep, bb auto parts in Werribee, on gumtree or FB.
Stacks of libs usually.
Otherwise, read my parts FAQ, link in my signature, specifically the self serve wreckers paragraphs.

Actually I’m not familiar with that type of tow bar, interested to see how you go.
Did you check the arb, etc, local mfg’s of oem towbars?

Towbars Australia, the unit probably has less capacity than the Hayman Reece item... By around 500kg indeed...

Thanks Benny, I have checked the regular offenders but they all say cutting is required and aren't too interested in going into any detail.

Tried the local self serve, tried various sellers on ebay, tried the google machine to no avail.

A member here posted these pics a while ago. Chasing something like this.

Perhaps some cutting is required for this option, but that's fine. I'm just not super keen on cutting a gaping hole in the back of the bumper cover.

Edit: Just saw your second post. Yeah looks to be a similar deal to the Towbars Australia ones. I just couldn't get any info out of any of the sellers reagrding whether it was cutting a gaping hole or more trimming it like Spiez alluded to in the thread you linked. Wasn't too keen on dropping $400 to find out, as I'm sure you can imagine. Thanks again.
