MY07+ Headlights, preferably GT/Spec B

Hey all,

Anyone got any spare headlights laying around? I'm looking for another set as I have minor scratches on my current set and was thinkin' about using them as a test set for blacking out my headlights.

As the title says I'd prefer GT/Spec B lights with the headlight washers. Anyone know where I could possible get some, without getting them from subaru, because I'm assuming they'll charge an arm and a leg.

Also, does anyone know if connecting the headlight washers to a non GT/Spec B will be hard? Is it doable?

Darren.

Not doable... the washers are built into the headlights, the other models don't have the space on the headlights for you to put the washer fittings.

So I won't even be able to take a set of headlights with the washers and fit them on?

Not sure what they're worth new, but the lights with the washers are bi-xenon aren't they? They'd be worth a decent penny, I doubt anyone would have any just lying around.

If you buy a set of the headlights with washers and all the parts that go with it (for the HID as well as for the water spray electronics) then you will be able to do it.

IMO - cost/time far outweighs benefit of having the washers...

I was of the understanding that they're part of the ADR's for Bi-Xenons? As the Bi-X's effectiveness/output is reduced by dirt/dust?

Yeah, that is true. As I understand, all cars with HID's must have some form of headlight washers equipped also. Which is one of the reasons I wouldn't mind getting some, however at that price I'd rather not have them. lol.

I still want another set of headlights though, anyone know how much non-washer ones would be. I was looking mainly for the.. Actual, what would the word be.. Housing? All bulbs, wiring and what not could possible transfered over from my current set.

I think what you're after is the HID upgrade kits? Phat would be the man to ask.
