I think that may be a standard sized replacement for the original cubby surround ?? The vents on the one for the Nexus upgrade are narrower to give you the extra width in the centre section to allow the tablet to fit

Yep, that is the standard one. The one we're after doesn't have the bottom bar to separate the cubby and the clock, and as Russ59 says, the space in the middle is wider, and the vents narrower
