G'day
I'm after a bolt on Invidia or similar down pipe for my 2008 Liberty TBSTI auto.
If anyone knows of any going around, let me know.
Best price I have is $775 shipped for new.
Cheers good people.

Paul from Street to Track can possibly better that price by about $40. Can also arrange ceramic coating. But wait time will be a few weeks.

Invidia is fine. One of the best you're going to get. Get it installed by an experienced exhaust shop, if you want a perfect fit.

It will fit, just needs some patience and some forethought to get it done. If you do not have this, please pay a professional.
There is only mm's of clearance between the cat and the gearbox though, but it's enough.
I have even less space now as I have wrapped mine with header wrap to protect the cv boot from radiant heat and also additional heat from the cat to the gearbox.

Also keen to keen to here about the fitment on the auto models as this is about the only option we have left at the moment.

The Invidia dump (Oz auto specific) is designed to fit, and a number of people on here have them and they fit fine.
Even though each individual car will have some tolerance differences, if it's not fitting properly it's probably not the fault of the dump pipe...
As Shav says, get it installed by a professional.

I think it's more to do with the fact that people are trying to fit just the Dump, while the Invidia was designed as a whole system.
Based on the negative feedback - I used to think something was wrong with them too - then we fitted a whole system to a friend's car - absolutely zero issues. Great fit for an off the shelf system.

Thing is I fit my dump prior to knowing there was a full system available. I think for those who want the dump only, it will work, bit takes a bit more patience and skill to get it to fit nicely. Ultimately, having the full system will be better for fitment reasons.

Hmm, any recommendations where to get the powder coating done in Adelaide? I'm still waiting for it to arrive.. apparently there was a stuff up. Hopefully here this week. S&J seems to be where everyone I know goes to work on their Subies... May aswell get them to fit my rear sway bar too.
I'll keep you guys posted when I get it done

...still have not received my down pipe.
According to Invidia , it's due to them re designing them (again) as a lot of people weren't happy with the fitment yet again..
May get it as late as November.
Pretty lame.

If they are redesigning it again it should be worth the wait. The previous model of should I say the model I have now is far too tight and only allows 2mm of clearance between the cat and the auto gearbox. That is too close as far as Im concerned. They should also have a DPC coated option as well as a heat shield option to help protect the CV's from additional heat.
