Gen 4 2.5i Radiator (Auto).

Hi,

Was driving today at 100km/h and the car somehow had a crack develop in the radiator. I kept driving without realising that had happened. By the time I stopped the engine was at 125C according to Torque. I let it cool down and tried to fill the radiator up, however it all ended up on the ground. The top plastic part had cracked.

So I'm after a radiator to suit my 2.5i Auto, hopefully something without plastic because I don't want this problem again.

Cheers.

Thanks guys. But I was under the impression that the 2.5i and GT radiators are different.

The 2.5i has only one cap keeping the pressure in. Where the GT has 2.

Also overflow tank isn't pressurised in the 2.5i.

Please correct me if I'm wrong because I would love to use a GT rad.

Well I called a local wreker who wanted $150. I decided to just buy a new Koyo one from eBay instead. Yeah its plastic but I couldn't find anything else that would be a straight swap.

So I no longer require one.
