Does anyone know where is the best place to get some upper engine cleaner? Best I have found so far is about $50 delivered per can on ebay.

Looking for two cans.

You can purchase SA459 Upper Engine Cleaner over the Parts counter at your local Subaru Dealer.
A hell of a lot cheaper than $50.00 a can?

The stuff is manufactured for Subaru by Bars Leaks (Australia)

You can also buy the same stuff from repco.

pretty sure a memeber here sell its for $10 a can, hes from nsw, he delivers and pickups available

Go to your local Stealership, walk out if they try and charge you any more than $15-$20 per can. Sorted.

Reviving this thread. Cheapest I can find on eBay is 48.51 for 2 delivered on eBay and the local dealership wants 25 each.

I went to my Subaru dealer just the other week.
$20 a can.

Three Bond engine conditioner works very well.
Available from most auto parts suppliers.



FYI the Ford UEC is the same as Subaru, both made by Bars.
