I am interested to buy the stock satnav for my subaru liberty 2005, I think a unit from 2005-08 should fit in. I am happy to give you my current chubby box with aircon vent. Please let me know if you are interested.

Interesting interior. Pre facelift with what looks like SI Drive and Alacantra inserts (do want) in a colour I've never seen...

Interesting. Looks like it was an option for legacys.

Thats from the Limited Edition 2.5i and has a different Sat Nav (looks slightly different anyway) to the ones found in GT/3.0's.
DVD drive is in the HU part.

I wish the dvd drive was separate, cause I use an aftermarket double din radio.

You might be able to unattach it from the HU, but I'm not sure. The microphone part is also part of the fascia of the HU, so it makes it all pretty tough, I think.

What if I just want to use the satnav along with my aftermarket headunit (which got bluetooth, microphone, etc).. Does the navigation unit has the gps built in to the display unit or is it with the stock head unit just like the microphone?
