any one know where i can get a set of HID's for a 2005 MY06 2.5i liberty?
ive seen a few kits on ebay every now and then..does any one know what the quality is like from the ebay sellers and also will any H7 kit fit without having to splice wires etc.

170 sounds alright, what comes with it?

Pretty straightforward to install - the plugs only go in one place it's not much harder than changing your light globe

hey mat yeh i can help u get a kit ... i had these kit on my car soon after i bought my car .. so i had them on for 2.5 yrs now..... so far didn't replace any of the bulb or ballast ... pretty happy with it so i recommend these to my friends + forum member .. since the aus $$ is so strong so the price ur looking at is $150 .. few of the member on this forum using the HID i supplied ... so far they all very happy with it ........ i think hahaha ..

And if anything breaks ... all the part will be replace ........ but one bad thing ... u need to pay for freight .. which is not much anyway ..

even if u don't get the HID from me .... give me a buzz i'll help u with the install ! since ur at Sydney !

A friend of mine is interested as well he has a MY05 3RB. Does anyone know whether it will fit? His worry is the cop and installation. I heard that changing it is pretty easy, how are the ballasts secured? is there a good enough sticker or we need to screw it onto the headlight plastic housing? And how do I order one if he is keen? Thanks.

anybody know if these kits are any goood?

I'm not sure what you're expecting anyone to say. You get what you pay for in most cases.

There are even $60 kits including freight if you look hard enough. Just not sure I would want to risk your car on it though. I'd stick with Leo as those kits are tried and tested by him and a lot of other people.

$150 is pretty good for a decent HID kit. I remember paying $700 for my kit only just 3 years ago.

yes plenty of HID out there ..... and yes u can get the $60 or $90 off ebay .. im sure they all work fine.
