Looking at a couple of gen3's... thoughts?

Postby cynner » Mon Jul 08, 2013 8:20 am

Hey all,

I'm looking at selling my modified Legacy GT (1990, with VF23, FMIC, etc) and getting something a little newer but with similar "go-fast-bits" - I'm considering a couple of gen3's.

Both are AM Auto builds, so have been done very well... and are around the same price ($10,000 but open to offers). Here are the two contenders... what do people think?

Option 1 looks very clean - has the dual sunroofs and probably a bit cleaner interior ... it's done about 100,000km's on the STI engine (which is only 2L) - but it does have ARP goodies, so the engine is probably rock-solid!

Option 2 has the GTB kit which looks nice, but it's on a GX so no sunroof, and the interior looks a bit "GX". But it's also done only 10,000kms on a brand new 2.5L STI bottom end... would be a very nice car to drive.

Thoughts? :)

Kim

(I'm not selling these... asking for advice on comparing the two models which I'm looking at possibly buying...)

Oops, misread the first bit straight after approving your "Approved seller" request.
I've shifted this topic into "Wanted to Buy" then.

That's probably the best solution for an indecisive person like me... hah. Just need to buy a lotto ticket...
