What's your budget? There are quite a few systems that meet your requirements that range from $300 - $1500. What car are these mufflers going on?

Hey Benny, a little bit of information would be nice so people can give some ideas on type, price, pros cons etc.
As in life you have to help yourself before others can help

You could try negotiating with Hi-Tech to see if they will sell a set to you at the price prior to their outrageous price hike.

...let me know how you go benny, Im looking at something similar for my MY07 GT but being in Perth leaves us less choice. Each exhaust shop I have been to scratch their head and examines the car (as if its the first one they have seen!??!) Doesnt leave me with much confidence that the system will be any good...

I have a pair of the twin tip stainless hitecs on my GT that could be for sale. I've only had them on for about a month, and to be honest I'm not fussed if they stay or go (More to do with the wife wanting a virtually silent car). Offer the right money and I'll soon remove them and send them to you

i got a pretty decent quote from Butler Built in carlisle for a couple stainless oval mufflers, i've heard nothing but good reports about them, my subaru mechanic has a butler system on his rexy too. not too loud but a nice rumble, i have a feeling the hi-techs might be a little too quiet for me (they are a sexy muffler though)...

Hi Benny
Your more than welcome to look at the ones I have on my car (the ones I was going to sell to you.. unfortunately my STI's went "missing" as did my money, hence no upgrade for me
Carline Mufflers in Blacata (or the general area) is very very good..
Do you have a wagon?
