Hi Guys,

I'm trying to track down an IHI VF38 for a Liberty GT 04 model, automatic.

After a used one if possible or if anyone knows a company that sells them cheaply as 5k from Subaru is a bit rich.

Cheers,
Martin

I saw that one, thanks for that. Hoping to find a second hand one if possible. As the car only needs to do another 5000k

If you did see it, why not post you want one cheaper than that rather than 5K from Subaru?

So you want a s/h one under 1K?

If there are none for sale does anyone know what turbos, if any, will bolt on in place of the VF38?

TD04HLA from the manual is the only direct replacement.

Don't the AT and MT dumps have different flanges at the turbo? Also I have a spare VF38 sitting in my garage if your interested.

No.

04 - 06 twin scroll auto manual is the same dump pipe flange.

07 - 09 single scroll auto manual is the same dump pipe flange.
